Applications
Special organic synthesis; antibiotic drug, anti-aids drug, antilipemic agent; surface treatment of kieselguhr, white carbon black and titanium powder; auxiliaries of silicon carbide fibre; anti- sediment agent of coating; for preparation of organic silicon compound.Used as a blocking agent to protect sensitive functional groups. Used as a versatile silylation agent and an intermediate for functional silicones and pharmaceutical synthesis. Used as a tackifier and adhesion promoter for photoresist. Used in GC-MS to enhance the detectability with polar functional groups. Used as a surface modifier for inorganic fillers, micro and nanoparticles treatment.
