Applications
Used in a wide range of applications as a silane coupling agent, silane adhesion promoter, silane hydrophobing agent, silane dispersing agent, silane crosslinking agent, silane moisture scavenger,polypropylene catalyst donor silane, silicate Stabilizer, polyurethane endcapper silane, silane dryingagent, silane curing agent, silane reinforcer, silylating agent, silane reducing agent, silyl building blocks and synthons etc; Widely used in cosmetics, deodorant, water repelling windshield coating, food additives and some soaps. It is a siloxane that is used as a monomer in the production of silicone polymers or silicone resins. Besides it finds its application as a chemical intermediate in the production of other organosilicon substances. Further it is used as water proofing agent for textiles, paper and leather.
