| Description |
| Siwin-931 exhibits excellent solubility in common organic solvents like alcohols, hydrocarbons, and acetone. It has low solubility in neutral water and reacts slowly to produce silanols and other condensation products. The addition of a hydrolytic catalyst, such as inorganic or organic acids, ammonia, or amines, significantly speeds up the hydrolysis of Siwin-931. |
| Application |
1. Primarily utilized for making various surfaces and materials resistant to water, such as mineral fillers, pigment, glass, and cardboard.
2. Applied either in its pure form or as a solution for treating fillers, with the use of appropriate mixing tools. Pre-treating the substrate with water and/or a catalyst may be required.
3. Employed in the manufacturing of silicone resins and condensation-curing silicone rubber. |
