Product Description

Dodecyltrimethoxysilane is a long-chain silane with three methoxy groups. It is soluble in a variety of ordinary solvents. It is mainly used as a waterproof agent with superior hydrophobicity. 
 

Application

Siwin-91231 is primarily utilized for handling inorganic materials such as glass, silica, Al2O3, Kaolin, pottery, porcelain, mica, SiC, talcum powder, and more. Its purpose is to enhance the blending properties with organic matter and improve water resistance, as well as strengthen the mechanical properties of the final products. 

It is commonly used for fog-proofing glass, protecting blank and coated glass (including optical antireflex coating, vacuum antireflex coating, and reflective coating), safeguarding optical parts or precision instruments with graduations and metal frames, and preserving historical relics or other items from water damage. This includes protecting outdoor historical relics from corrosion, freezing, or efflorescence.
