Applications
In manufacturing of silicon resin rubber.Can be used for silylation of glass capillary columns.could cross-linked with polyhydromethylsiloxane in the presence of Karstedt's catalyst. When the reactions were carried out in solvent-free conditions, non-porous polysiloxane-silazane networks were obtained.is a viscosity additive that belongs to the class of polymerized silazanes. The polymerization reaction between silicon and azide groups in 1,3-divinyl-1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisilazane creates a network of crosslinks between molecules that have reactive groups on their surfaces. This can be used as a crosslinker for epoxy resins and polyurethane adhesives. It is also used as an additive to increase the viscosity of silicone oils or fluids. The molecule has two phenyl groups at opposite ends of the chain and has reactive functional groups such as allylamine at one end and fluoroalkyl at the other end.
