MECHANICAL FLUID: Exceptional viscosity-temperature characteristics, thermal and chemical stability, resistance to shear breakdown, compressibility, and rubber compatibility make it ideal for mechanical and hydraulic applications. Common uses include hydraulic stabilizers and damping media.
SURFACE-ACTIVE MATERIAL: When added to vinyl plastisols, it enhances flow characteristics, de-aerates, and lubricates the surface of the finished product.
LUBRICANT: Provides superior lubrication for most plastic and elastomeric surfaces. The lubricity with metals varies depending on the combination involved. It is essential to choose appropriate metals for pumps and other components with moving parts.
COSMETICS AND SKIN PREPARATIONS: A crucial ingredient in hand creams, skin protectants, suntan lotions, and hair grooming products.
