Applications
This product can be used in its pure form, diluted, or incorporated into a specific product formulation. When applied to natural stones or other construction materials, it creates a binder similar to silica gel (SiO2) that enhances the strength of the substrate.
It serves as an intermediate in the sol-gel process and when applied to glass and plastic lens materials, it creates a scratch-resistant, hard coating.
Additionally, it is utilized as crosslinkers in silicone rubber systems and as drying agents in sealing compositions.
