It mainly acts as an adhesion promoter and improves the adhesion between organic polymers to inorganic substrates. Further examples include the use of Siwin-A210 in glass fiber/glass fabric composites as a size constituent or finish, as well as in glass and metal primers. It can also be used in abrasives for chemical modification and as an additive, and in mineral-filled composites for pretreatment of fillers and pigments or as an additive in the synthesis of functional silicones.
